Our Story: A Better Way to Build

The story of the Nail Holder begins with our founder, Ari Shevat…

…on an eight-foot ladder during a construction job in 2015. Tasked with installing hurricane brackets in a tight space, he found it nearly impossible to hold the small nails and swing a hammer without hitting his fingers. After several painful misses that left his fingers “bloody, bruised and very painful,” he knew there had to be a better way.

That evening, after a frustrating search for a tool that could help, Ari found that no existing device would work for the job. He was adamant about finding a tool that would safely hold a nail in place. After a week of intense searching turned up nothing, he was inspired: “I need to invent a tool that can hold a nail up right and firm so you can hammer in and not smash your fingers”.

This idea launched a journey that took years of development, several 3D prototypes, and tens of thousands of dollars to perfect. After extensive testing and locating a manufacturer, he created the final product and decided to call his invention the “Nail Holder with the Third Ring”.

The result is a beautiful zinc alloy chrome hand tool that is safe to use, and it works like a dream. Today, Ari is very happy to say that with thousands of Nail Holders in inventory, he is ready to sell a Nail Holder to every household in America.
